![]() crop damage by wood pigeons 2This is crop damage on oil seed rape by wood pigeons. This is a crucial time of year for the crop when the main flowering bud is produced | ![]() pigeons in flightDuring the winter the wood pigeon will flock together which can make them difficult to manage. Ideally getting on top of them during the summer months is always the best solution |

![]() Canada GeeseOne of the many invasive species we have here in the UK. They can be shot on the general licence throughout the year as they can cause quite a bit of crop damage. We also control other wildfowl when in season. Land owners can gain financially from this. Contact us for more details. | ![]() Fallow deerAside from being a beautiful sight in any setting, if unchecked fallow can cause a considerable amount of damage in woodland and open farmland. We have several different approaches to this problem which it total dependent on population size. The first course of action would be to carry out a population survey followed by drawing up a cull plan then implementing a appropriate course of action. In many cases there can be some financial gains to the land owner. |
![]() Invasive speciesThe Chinese water deer along with the Muntjac are classed invasive species. However they are here to stay. At the moment the CWD population is mostly in the Beds/Herts and Bucks area but are spreading and are present as far as Norfolk. Although they are not as big as fallow or roe deer they have a much bigger reproduction rate and can cause considerable crop damage if left unchecked. | ![]() Tree DamageThis specific damage has been done by rabbits but squirrels and deer can cause the same kind of damage and in the larger species of deer the problems caused can be irreversible. We can manage commercial woodland and help prevent this from happening. |
![]() The Red FoxWhen Foxes are concerned we take a sympathetic approach to their control and only target them in areas that they are a problem. this includes farmland with livestock, Game shoots and areas where wildfowl or ground nesting birds need to be protected | ![]() MuntjacMuntjac are very versatile deer which is evident in the way they have spread in this country. Originally from Asia many thought that they wouldn't be suited to the British climate but they have thrived. They don't cause quite as much damage to crops as other species of deer but can cause a lot of damage to woodland and also displace many of out native species due to their feeding habits. They are also very partial to a lot of plants put in by gardeners and we are fully insured to remove them. |
![]() Trappingother than shooting we use other methods of control such as trapping, snares and Ferrets | ![]() Crop damageThis picture shows the extent of damage that can be caused by rabbits |
